- Heat oil and add onions,fry till brown,remove from heat,allow to cool and then grind with little water to make a fine paste.
- Heat the remaining oil and add the cloves, black peppercorns,cardamoms and cinnamon, saute till nice fragrant.

- Add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste. Saute until raw smell of masala goes away
